Ms. Singh has an experience of 15 years in advocacy, communications, partnerships and social development. She has proven her expertise in developing strategies, policies, plans, designing and managing advocacy & communications related programs and forging partnerships amongst a wide spectrum of stakeholders such as NGOs, CSOs, Government Ministries and departments, PSUs & Corporate and media conglomerates. Ms. Pooja Singh had worked with Jagran Pehel -A CSR initiative of the Dainik Jagran for a period of 6 years and was the National Head – Communications before she left the organization and joined Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs. She was invited as International guest faculty at the “Pakistan Diabetes Leadership Conference”, at Islamabad in March 2014 for deliberation on “Media’s contribution in creating awareness on Diabetes” – a successful campaign executed by Jagran Pehel in India. Also, she was the Panellist for the "Sustainable Business through CSR" conference organized by CSR Liveweek and NGO Asia Expo in November 2013 and made a presentation on “Role of Media in Communicating Corporate Good”.
She was the key person to initiate some of the major advocacy campaign on the theme of girl child ‘Gender Barabar’, Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) Diabetes Awareness, malnutrition, Project “Sapnon Ko Chali Choonney” on women empowerment, female infanticide, feticide and Business Responsibility and its reporting. The Projects were supported by various organisations like World Diabetes Foundation, CARE India, Bihar State Women Development Corporation, UNFPA, etc.
She had also worked as Assistant Producer with Channel 7 and executed research, pre-production, shoots and edits of shows like Bas Zindagi, Main Hoon Captain, Mudda and Reincarnation.
